I’m gonna miss pete carroll. not just because he was a great coach at USC, but because he was so down to earth. he would talk to people after practice and sign things for fans. he would twitter all day long. and he would bring people like Will Farrell to practice and he helped out the community.
as a die hard Trojan, I don’t want to promote negativity towards our new coach, Lane Kiffin, but this is so well done and so hilarious, i just had to post it.
Sorry Tennessee, I think all of us Trojans realize it was a pretty messed up move by Lane, but we’re ready to roll with our new commander in chief.
if USC football was music, I’d like to think that Pete Carroll simply started spinning a record and got us all hopped up on booze and drugs, dancing our asses off. He put in his time, DJ’d non-stop for years and now its time for another jockey to step in and, just how music changes, take us to a new groove for the years to come. I just hope USC can get that new DJ in line because I don’t want the music to stop. I want to keep dancing.

Like most of Trojan nation, I thought Pete would stick it out until the bitter end, JoePa style, but he is now on his way to Seattle for another shot at the NFL. I hope he gets what he wants out of it because he’s obviously leaving behind a lot of sad faces and a lot of opportunities for greatness to come.
I started at USC before the Pete Carroll era and I’ll love USC long past it. I’m forever thankful for the glory that he brought us for the past 9 years and I’ll miss him. I’m proud to be a Trojan and I know he is too.
