Its rare that a chick singer rock band comes around that I actually want to listen to. I can probably name them on one hand. I mean, seriously, who’s good? No Doubt (in their heyday). I like The Sounds, but more live than on record. Gossip is groovy at times. Is Kelly Clarkson a rocker? I mean seriously, who is there?
Anyhow, Paramore is definitely a chick fronted band who really grew on me with their last album, Riot, and their new album was just released today and is on sale for only $3.99 on Amazon mp3. I’ve only listened through it once so far, and so far, its pretty cool. I think it will grow on me as well. So here is to one of the few chick-fronted rock bands that i’m willing to listen to! Huzzah!

i could Use Somebody to cover
Paramore is a pretty cool band. They are young (i think the lead singer is like 19 or 20) and write really catchy pop rock songs. Plus Hayley is hot. and Paramour means ‘secret lover’ though they spell it differently, which meas its like a super secret lover. probably a message from hayley to me. They also just gained a lot of clout in my book because they did a really great live/acoustic cover of the massively overplayed Kings Of Leon’s Use Somebody. I’m actually really looking forward to their third album.
