I just did a quick search through my iTunes and filtered out about 50 songs with the word “rain” in the title and that’s after sorting through and getting rid of “train” and “grain” and misspellings of reign and rein.

For the first spot in what should be about 7 days worth of rain songs, I’m putting up the kings of the rain, who happen to sing a song about the reign of a Rain King, none other than the original princes of sadness, Counting Crows. ya, that’s right, i’m already contradicting my post from last week about Dashboard being the reigning emo kings, but whatever. Countring Crows hold the reins and they always have. I honestly hope i’m using the proper spellings of rain/reign/rein in this paragraph, i really have no clue. If I wanted to spend my life focusing on proper grammar, well, that’s would i would do, but i don’t. so ya.
