Congratulations to me :)
On Sunday I ran my first ever half marathon. That’s 13.1 miles of pounding the pavement. My knees hurt for two days and I pretty much couldn’t stop eating for an entire day, trying to gain my energy back. But, it was a great feeling to accomplish and I’m seriously considering the full marathon on March 21st. Anyone else doing it? I could use a friend to train with.
Not the most gorgeous photo, but how good can a man look taking his step over the finish line after running for 13 miles? I finished in 2 hours, 15 minutes.
