We just finished up our tour at Avery Brewing and unfortunately my phone was dead so I have no photos, but it was great. Their brewery reminds me a lot of our brewery, just a bit bigger. Plus they had some awesome beers pouring like Reverend ’08 in Eagle Rare barrels or even Reverend ’05 bourbon barrel aged. Good times, great beers. Love love love today.

New Belgium Brewery

We’re on the VIP tour of the brewery led by the brewer in charge of their sour ales. I’m currently in the control room, amazed by the technology that they use to make things work here.
We’ve been treated to the vip bar where we tried things like the sour brown ale collaboration with Elysian and better yet, the insanley tart Tart Lychee. This brewery is off the chaiiiiin. Shame they are only famous for Fat Tire
GABF morning #1

So we landed in Denver at a few minutes after 10am. There are 8 of us from The Bruery and we met up with a girl from Sam Adams, the owners of Verdugo Bar, some craft beer radio dudes who won our twitter contest and the Am half of our Pro-Am contest entry and boarded the limo bus. Now, 11:45 am and we are onto our first beers for the day while on our way to the brewery tours. Sipping on some Southampton and Odells brews, the day is brightening up. Gonna be a hell of a weekend at the Great American Beer Festival.
