Last night I went to see the secret acoustic Carney / Veronicas show at the Hear NoHo festival that is apparently going to be happening on the first Thursday of every month, at least for a while, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out its an awesome little event they’ve got going on in the San Fernando Valley aka THE Valley. They had people playing in the weirdest venues all around the NoHo arts district. I saw an indie rock band in an art gallery, a kick ass blues artist in an empty apartment loft and Carney and The Veronicas in the back room of an empty storefront. Pretty rad stuff. Here are a couple videos of that “secret” show. Not so secret when the map of the event that lists the schedule says “11pm – Secret Show”
