Leona Lewis won the Brittish version of American Idol and then she won our hearts with the incessantly overplayed Bleeding Love. Personally, I think her cover of Snow Patrol’s Run was one of the best covers of all time, and really just one of the best records of all time. But today we’re talking about her new single from her unreleased album. The tune is called Happy and it is again co-written with Ryan Tedder of One Republic. That guy sure knows how to write a fucking hit. Besides the obvious success of his band’s song Apologize, he penned Bleeding Love, Jordin Sparks’ Battlefield, Beyonce’s Halo, and Kelly Clarkson’s Already Gone just to name a few.  Clearly the dude knows how to write a hit for the modern age diva and Happy is no exception.  Check it out below and enjoy the tune you are about to hear overplayed to death on top 40 radio.
